Albert Gill

Albert B. Gill, 55, of 623 Lokchapee Drive, died Thursday, November 20, 2008. Services will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Setzer will officiate. Burial will be at 4:00PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cochran, GA. The family will greet friends on Saturday from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street.

Mr. Gill, son of the late George Porch Gill and the late Thelma Green Gill, was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He graduated from Gainesville High School in 1971 and earned an associate's degree from Gulf Coast Community College. He received a bachelor's degree from Fort Valley State College in Electronics Engineering Technology in 1994 and received a bachelor's degree from Macon State College in Information Technology in 2006. He did further studies at Auburn University, Mercer University and West Virginia Institute of Technology.

Mr. Gill is survived by his wife, Amelia Anne Alderman, M. D. of Macon; son, Adrian A. Gill of Macon; daughter, Alison A. Gill of Macon; brother, Walter Gill of Gainesville, Florida; sister, Marjorie of Americus.
