Alan "Rocky" Hall Johnston

On Sunday, October 28, 2018, Alan Hall Johnston (“Rocky”), 64, of Macon, Georgia, passed away surrounded by his loved ones.

Alan will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, hatred of footwear, and general stubbornness (which made his nickname all the more appropriate). He died as he lived, on his own terms, letting everyone know that when it came to this life, he liked this game.

Alan is survived by his siblings, Daniel Johnston and Janice Crosby, children, Todd Ward, Tonya Griffin, Brandon Johnston, and Keith Johnston, and his grandchildren.

Alan is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Johnston, mother, Grace Johnston, and father, Howard Johnston.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Swift Creek United Methodist Church at 4271 Jeffersonville Rd, Macon, GA 31217.
