Alan Ray Deuley, 70, passed away peacefully Monday, August 27, 2018, at his home in Jones County. He was surrounded by his loving family who had the privilege to care for him during an extended illness.

A man of countless talents, Alan could "do it all." As an expert craftsman, musician, horse whisperer, and mentor he touched many lives. He had the uncanny ability to make people feel special, loved and welcome. He will forever be remembered for his smile and gentle spirit.

Alan was born to Goldie and Paul Deuley as a twin, in Ohio on July 4, 1948. His parents preceded him in death, as well as an older brother, Gary. He leaves behind his twin brother, Bruce, and older brothers John and Tom.

Alan's greatest love was his family. Carlene, his wife of 40 years, and children Earth, Zenith (Adriana), Sayward (Jeremy), and Amon; grandchildren Alexis, Jaden, Kai, Ayda, Bayla, Saylor, and Alina, will forever cherish his memory.

Please join us for a celebration of Alan's life on Sunday,September 9th @ 5:00 pm, at the Garden of Rusty George, 5276 Zebulon Road in Macon to remember and honor the man we all knew and loved.

You may be gone from our sight, but will never be gone from our hearts.
