Aiden Eliza Carter

Aiden Eliza Carter, beloved daughter of Dr. Gary Carter and Janet Rawlins Carter, passed away unexpectedly on March 3, 2015. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cupola of Harts Mortuary on Peake Road. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at The Cupola, and can be contacted before then at the home of Dr. Gary Carter, 5797 Rivoli Drive in Macon. As all are aware who were fortunate enough to know her, Aiden was a true force of nature, singing her own song and dancing her own dance and marching to a rhythm of life that was singularly hers. Intelligent beyond measure, beautiful beyond comprehension, strong-willed beyond belief, she never compromised, never settled, never demurred, and never faltered in her belief that the world was a rich gift just waiting for her to open it. Aiden was a talented actor, singer and artist and was a recognized and unforgettable face in many local theatre productions, including the Macon Little Theatre title role in "Diary of Anne Frank" of which she was so proud, as well as numerous roles in Theatre Macon's YAC productions and Stratford Academy's drama and music programs under the direction of friends and mentors Sylvia Haynie and Laura Voss. In addition to her grieving parents, Aiden is survived by her son Jude Emory Moore; siblings Athens Emory Carter, Amy Carter Uren, Austin Edward (Karen) Carter, and Ashley Carter Chadwick; aunts Joyce Rawlins Powell, Judy Rawlins, and JoNell Carter Horne; treasured family friend Gloria Moore; and an extended family of numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
