Adnah T. Eckert

Adnah T. Eckert went to our Lord and Savior July 11, 2013. Adnah was born in and resided in Macon for 91 years. She was retired from the City of Macon after 30 plus years of service. Adnah was predeceased by her parents, Wade Hampton Tomlinson and Vera Thompson Tomlinson; brother, Wade Tomlinson, Jr.; and two husbands, Bernard Stephen O'Nan, Sr. and Robert B. Eckert. Survivors include her son, Bernard Stephen O'Nan, Jr. (Lynette); sister, Betty Brown; grandchildren, Bernard Stephen "Pat" O'Nan, III (Tami) and Brandon O'Nan; great grand- children, Thomas and Addie O'Nan and David, Casey and Callie Moring; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dignity, LLC and caregiver, Fredricka Oliphant. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Reverend John Kinser officiating. Visitation will be between 3:00-5:00PM on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family may be contacted at the residence of Steve and Lynette O'Nan.
