Ruth Hammock Campbell

Ruth Hammock Campbell, 85, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Ingleside Baptist Church with the Reverend Bob Price and Dr. Lane Collins officiating. Burial is private. A reception/visitation will follow the service at the church. The family may be contacted at the residence of Carol and Jeff Sawyer, 139 Bradford Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Ms. Campbell was a member of the Marshall Singles Sunday School Class at Forest Hills United Methodist Church. She was a former caterer and member of the Howard Community Homemakers Club. Above all, she was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, and take care of her family. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Price (Bob) of Cochran, Danny Rogers (Janet) of Marietta, Cathy Forehand (Dale) of Sylvania, Patsy Thigpen (Bobby) of Lizella, Allison Heayberd (Tick) of Milledgeville, and Carol Sawyer (Jeff) of Macon; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Lord (Bobby) of Macon; 2 nephews, 1 niece; and a special friend, John Wilson of Warner Robins.
