Patricia Rainey Yoder

September 11, 1951 — March 15, 2014

Patricia Rainey Yoder died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home in Macon, Georgia, after a six-year battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a form of Parkinson's Disease. She was 62. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, she graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1974. She taught school in Centerville Ohio, in early adulthood, but spent most of her career in real estate sales, first with Heritage Realtors in Dayton, Ohio. She also worked for Aon Home Warranty in Edwardsville, Illinois, and with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Atlanta, Georgia. She also was in real estate sales with Lennar Builders in Venice, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Rex Yoder of Macon; a son, Theodore Rex Yoder and his wife, Amber, of Augusta, Georgia; an infant grandson, Dayton Alexander Yoder of Augusta; a brother, Stanley Harrison Rainey of Hilton Head, South Carolina; a twin sister, Pamela Adams of Orlando, Florida; niece Amy Adams Trickey of Orlando, Florida; niece Allison Adams McCoy of Orlando, Florida; nephew Michael Adams of Orlando, Florida; and four grand nieces and grand nephews. Memorial services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, in Macon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CurePSP, 30 E. Padonia Rd, Suite 201, Timonium, MD 21093. Register online at . Hart’s Mortuary and Crematory at the Cupola has charge of arrangements.
