Kathryn Baugh Graves

Kathryn Baugh Graves, 81, passed away on Thursday, July 03, 2014. Memorial services will be at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Northway Church with the Reverend Kevin Mills officiating. Family will greet friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northway Faith for the Future Fund, 5915 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. The daughter of the late Henry Grady Baugh and the late Mary Sartin Baugh of Rome, Georgia. She graduated from Rome High School with honors and also graduated from Business College in Rome. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and Northway Church, planted by Vineville Baptist, where she served on several committees and taught Sunday school from nursery, primary, juniors, high school seniors to Director of young married's. She and Mr. Graves were Facilitators to Home Teams. Mrs. Graves loved her role as homemaker, wife, and mother to her four children and grandmother to 13 grandchildren and great grandmother to 1 great grandchild. She was lovingly involved in all their lives. Several of the Graves children and grandchildren were very active in sports and could always count on "Jim Daddy" and "Grand" for support and attendance to all their games. Mrs. Graves was predeceased by her sister, Elizabeth Roberson (Robby). Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Graves; son, David (Lisa) Graves; daughters, Diane (Tony) Bloodworth, Claire (Bernie) Lee, and Gina (Phil) Sibley, all from Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Kyle, Kathleen, Benton, Alli, Holley, Garrett, Gavin, Brian, Brad, Loston, Mary Micah, Sloan, and McKenna; great grandchild, Addison; sisters, Juby Whittenburg (Doyle) of Rome, Georgia, Frances Hart (Henley) of Rome; brothers-in-law, Aubrey L. (Frances) of Smyrna, Georgia, and Larry D. (Jane) of Cartersville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
