Jerry Scott Etheridge

Macon- Jerry Scott Etheridge, 47, of 130 River Forest Drive, died Saturday, October 30, 2010. Services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 1:00PM at Ingleside Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Relay for Life.

Mr. Etheridge was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church. He was a native of Fayetteville, Georgia and graduated from Fayette County High School with the Class of 1982. Mr. Etheridge was a devoted employee of Capitol Cycle and had a very strong work ethic. More than anything else, he loved riding his motorcycle.

Mr. Etheridge is survived by his mother, Nita Champion of Carrollton; wife, Peggy Etheridge of Macon; son, David Alexander Etheridge of Fayetteville; brother, Clay Etheridge; sisters, Lori, Sheila, and Bonny; grandparents, Doc and Ethel Frost of Macon; many nieces and nephews.
