Bill Knowles, 57, of Macon, died Monday, December 21, 2020 after a short and intense battle with osteosarcoma. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills United Methodist Church with the Reverend Teresa Edwards officiating. Masks are mandatory. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Bill was a good man, husband and father who loved God, his family, and his community deeply. He was a graduate of MD Collins High School in College Park, Georgia. He then attended Cosumnes River College and The University of Georgia. He had a long and rewarding career spanning 27 years with Globe Life, Liberty National division. Some of his favorite activities included enjoying adventures with his family, traveling, community and political activism, collecting memorabilia and rooting for underdog sports teams like The A’s and Redskins.
Bill is survived by his wife, Bridget Coman Knowles of Macon and children, Victoria Knowles (Andy Peronto) of Highland Ranch, Colorado and Theodore “Teddy” Knowles of Macon.
The family requests that memories and stories please be handwritten and sent to Hart’s at the Cupola or brought to the funeral so they can be shared and cherished by his loved ones.
