Betty Beam Bentley

Macon-Betty Beam Bentley, 79, died Monday, August 8, 2011. Funeral services will be 1:00PM at Vineville Baptist Church on Thursday, August 11, 2011 with Dr. Tripp Martin officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, GA 31204.

Mrs. Bentley was the daughter of the late Winston Grady Beam and the late Nora Hornsby Beam. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hornsby was preceded in death by a son, Nathan S. Thompson. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Russell O. Bentley; sons, Larry Bentley (Beverly), Jerry Bentley, and Steven Bentley (Darlene); brother, Marlon Beam (Amanda); sisters, Verna Long, Partricia Cauthen (Howard), and Rudene Nast (Harold); five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
