Barbara Jayne Erskine

Barbara Jayne Erskine, born in Macon, Georgia, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at her home in Perry, Georgia. She loved the outdoors, fishing and gardening, as well as crafts. "Nane" as she was known to her grandchildren, was an outgoing and friendly lady who was always willing to help anyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Miriam Ogburn, and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Malcom (Lee), of Milledgeville and her two grandchildren, Victoria and Matthew Borden, both of Perry. Her laughter will be missed by everyone who knew her. Services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be private in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
