Robert C. Billue, 75 of Gray, passed away, Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Funeral services will be private.The Billue family will be receiving visitors from 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2019, at their residence located at 412 Madison St. Gray, Ga 31032.
Mr. Billue, born on July 27, 1944, was a wonderful father and a great husband. He was an avid University of Georgia football fan, as he graduated in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree from the UGA College of Pharmacy. He served a forty-year career as a pharmacist in the Macon area.
Mr. Billue was gifted with a special creative talent. He was an ardent carpenter, as he restored three well-known homes in the Old Clinton area, located in Gray, Georgia: the 1809 McCarthy Pope House, the Kingman-Comer House and the 1810 Parrish-Billue House, where his family has resided for 44 years. Mr. Billue also enjoyed fishing at Lake Sinclair with his daughters.
Mr. Billue is predeceased by his parents, J.C. Billue and Erma Rae Teague. Mr. Billue is survived by his wife, Shirley Anderson Billue of Gray; his daughters, Gabriel (Marshall) Coats of Decatur, Georgia and Mary Anderson (Marcus) Luno of Bowie, Maryland; a grandson, Kesten Coats of Decatur; and a brother, David Billue of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
