Pierce "Danny" Daniels Sheffield, Jr.

Pierce Daniels “Danny” Sheffield, Jr., 68, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024.  Graveside funeral services will be at Macon Memorial Park, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 2:00PM with the Reverend Tom Caruth officiating.

Danny was a loving father, Paw-Paw, and friend to many.  He proudly served his country, first by joining the Marines and later through his time as a Sheet Metal Mechanic at Robins Air Force Base.  He loved aircrafts of all kinds and took every opportunity to share his love of planes with his family.  As an avid outdoorsman, Danny enjoyed fishing and camping with family and friends at Lake Sinclair.  He loved classic rock and expressed that love of music as a drummer.  The most dynamic and special thing about Danny was his ability to cherish those he loved.  He made each person feel special, accepted, and loved. 

Danny is preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Harrell; and his parents, Pierce Sheffield, Sr. and Joyce Sheffield.  He is survived by his son, Ricky Sheffield (Emilee); daughters, Beth Jenkins (Patrick), and Kristy Wood; nine grandchildren, Collin Sheffield, Emily Sheffield, Denise Grace, Abby Durham, Elijah Jenkins, Marshal Jenkins, Skyler Sheffield, Nate Sheffield, and Hailey Wood; as well as two great-grandchildren on the way.
