Clyde Charles Thomas

Clyde Charles Thomas, 45, of Dry Branch, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street, Macon, Georgia, with Reverend Bobby Hamlin officiating.  Family will greet friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to service.   

Clyde was born on February 9, 1979, in Macon, Georgia, to Barbara Wall and Johnny Thomas. He began his work career installing wood flooring. Clyde later learned how to weld from the mentorship of Kenneth.  He was a big music fan and he enjoyed listening to and singing country-rap songs.  Motorcycles were a favorite pastime for him, along with get-a-way trips to Savannah and Tybee Island and searching for the best prices at Daily Deals.  Clyde was of the Christian faith, and he loved his family. He will be greatly missed. 

Clyde is survived by his sons, Landen Thomas and Ryan Thomas of Gray, Georgia; his mother, Barbara Wall (Kenneth) of Dry Branch, Georgia; his father, Johnny Thomas (Sharon) of Crawford County; his sister, Cindy Lenderman (Scott) of Monroe County; his brother, Charlie Thomas of Crawford County; his stepsisters, Madeline Wall Neering (Greg) of Jones County and Brandi Wall of Twiggs County; the mother of his children, Heather Dubose; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his loyal dog, Gracie Girl. He is preceded in death by his sister, Charlene Thomas.
