Mrs. Anice Jeanette Newman: 88, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, February 8, 2012. The funeral will be held at a later date in Traverse, Michigan. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Grawn, Michigan. She was a member of the Vineville Baptist Church in Macon. She was retired from the State of Michigan after 31 years of service. Survivors include: son and daughters, Leroy(Susan) Newman of Virginia; Ann Marie (Donald) Blodgett of Macon; and Nancy(Tom) Stubbs of Macon. Grandchildren: Gary Blodgett of Macon, Jeannette Blodgett of Dublin, Lee Jordan; Pamela(Steve) Champ of Virginia; Timothy(Wendy) Stubbs of Macon, Tara (Stephen) Stubbs-Olowoye of Virginia and six great grandchildren; brother: Frank Sheer of Michigan, Sisters: Roberta Balch of Mississippi, Fern Chupp of Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
