Dane Michael Brooks died on Thursday, May 24, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The Reverends E.Y. Stokes and Dan Darden will officiate. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made in dedication to Mr. Brooks’ mother, Leona Brooks, and mother-in-law, Joyce D. Stokes, to the Alzheimer’s Association, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Macon, Georgia 31201.

Mr. Brooks was an avid computer enthusiast, hunter and collector.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, Lori Stokes Brooks of Gray; sons, Taylor Dane Brooks and Tanner Leigh Brooks, both of Gray; mother, Leona Brooks of Macon; brothers, David W. Brooks, Jr of Sumter, South Carolina and Michael D. Brooks of Knoxville, Georgia; and sister, Deborah Watts of Charlestown, West Virginia.
