Macon- Shirley W. Kelly, 70, died Thursday, May 24, 2012. Services will be private. The family will greet friends on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Children’s Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, 777 Hemlock Street, Macon, Georgia 31201 or to Macon Volunteer Clinic, 376 Rogers Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204.

Mrs. Kelly, born April 3, 1942 in Augusta, Georgia, was a graduate of Richmond Academy and Augusta Junior College. She was a registered dental hygienist by profession. Mrs. Kelly was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and an avid University of Georgia football fan.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, E. Clyde Kelly, III, MD; daughters, Keryn Kelly Arnett and Jennifer Kelly; grandchildren, Christopher Arnett and Nathan Arnett.
