Macon-Bruce Eldon Townsend, Jr., 51, died Tuesday, May 08, 2012. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with Sonny Seneker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Townsend Children Scholarship Account, 136 Cambridge Way, Macon, Georgia 31220.

Mr. Townsend was a Business Credit Manager for Lintech International, LLC. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Kindberg Townsend.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Geer Townsend of Macon; son, Matthew Jordan Townsend; daughter, Sydney Grace Townsend; father, Major Bruce E. Townsend, Sr., USMC, Retired of Flowery Branch, Georgia; brother, Brad A. Townsend of Buford, Georgia; father-in-law, Robert “Bob” L. Geer, Sr. of Cordele, Georgia; and mother-in-law, Becky Bridger Geer of Atlanta, Georgia.
