Macon- Aline Howell Kimberly, 94, wife of the late Jessie Lee Kimberly, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, in the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Charles Asbell officiating. Burial will be at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary on Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.

Mrs. Kimberly, daughter of the late Bernard Sanders Howell and the late Sallie Mae Bell Howell, was born in Bleckley County, Georgia. She was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church, Lakeside Garden Club and Stone Creek Demonstration Club. She was a wedding caterer. Mrs. Kimberly loved working in her yard and sharing “fried apple pies” and plants with everyone. She loved her friends and family and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her sons, Billy P. (Mary Lois) Kimberly of Macon, James L. (the late Jean L.) Kimberly of Macon and Rayford V. “Rady” (Vonceal) Kimberly of Gray; brothers, Dewey H. (Tillie) Lamb of Macon and Leon F. (Kay) Lamb of Savannah; grandchildren, Denise K. Barnes, Lisa K. Johnson and Mark W. Kimberly and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Sanders Howell.
