Macon- Monroe Lee Garrette, 52, passed away April 30, 2012. He was the son of the late Garland Burke Garrette and is survived by his mother, Marion Barfield Garrette of Macon and sister, Melissa Garrette Horton of Raleigh, North Carolina. He was a graduate of Stratford Academy and attended Georgia Tech and Georgia State University. He was an audio-visual specialist.

Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 11:00AM. The Reverend Sam Lamback will officiate.
