James Patrick McHugh died Saturday, April 28, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 3, in the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The Reverend Brian Everett will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following the service until 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Macon Outreach, P. O. Box 149, Macon, Georgia 31202.

Mr. McHugh was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He was retired from Georgia Kraft.

Mr. McHugh is survived by his son Jim McHugh of Suwanee, daughter Beth Griffin (Kirby) of Macon, and son Joey McHugh ( Sandy) of Macon; seven grandchildren: Jack McHugh, Will McHugh, Austin Williams, Keaton Williams, Hannah Griffin, Brett McHugh, and Brady McHugh; two brothers: John McHugh and Al McHugh; and a sister, Kateria Baker.

The family would like to thank Dr. Siddiqhi, Heather, and all the staff at Regency Hospital for their care and compassion.
