Gray, GA- Dorothy Clarice Grimes, 93, of 148 Camelot Road, Gray, Georgia died Thursday, April 5, 2012. Services will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Rex Odom officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends on Monday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Susan and Earl Kitchens, Jr., 148 Camelot Road, Gray, Georgia 31032, telephone number 478-986-4883. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Bass United Methodist Church, 4062 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204.

Miss Grimes was a member of Bass United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class and Bass Seniors. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, cross stitch and other crafts. Miss Grimes was retired from the Bibb Company. She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Grimes, and her brothers, Morris C. Grimes, Jr. and Cecil Grimes (Janie).

Miss Grimes is survived by her sister, Vivian Kitchens (Earl, Sr.) and several nieces and nephews.
