Gray, GA- Catherine Grimes, 91, of 148 Camelot Road, Gray, Georgia died Sunday, April 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart’s Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Rex Odom officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Hart’s and may be contacted at the residence of Susan and Earl Kitchens, Jr., 148 Camelot Road, Gray, Georgia 31032, telephone number 478-986-4883. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Bass United Methodist Church, 4062 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204.

Miss Grimes was a member of Bass United Methodist Church and of Bass Seniors. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, cross stitch and other crafts. Miss Grimes was a secretary at Robins Air Force Base, retiring in 1985. She is predeceased by her brothers, Morris C. Grimes, Jr. and Cecil Grimes (Janie).

Miss Grimes is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Grimes and Vivian Kitchens (Earl, Sr.) and several nieces and nephews.
