Macon- William R. Peacock, 80, of Macon, Georgia, died Monday, February 27, 2012. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 11:00AM at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens with the Reverend Charles Nall officiating. The family will greet friends at the graveside on Wednesday at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Mr. Peacock was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie Sellers Peacock. He was a member of East Boulevard Baptist Church. Mr. Peacock was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Korean War.

Mr. Peacock is survived by his daughter, Willene Grubbs (Buster) of Macon; grandchildren, Wendy Collins (Shon) of Macon and Lori Grubbs (Tom Swanton) of Alaska; great-grandchildren, Logan Gay and Kaleb Collins; sister, Martha Daniel of Warner Robins; brother, Wendell Peacock (Janie) of Lizella and several nieces and nephews.
